I'm a Milwaukee-based freelance writer and photographer.

I love finding the untold stories and shining a light on areas being ignored by other parts of the media. For me, journalism is about storytelling. This world is full of fascinating people that we can all learn from - we just have to find a way to get their stories. Much of my writing lies at the intersections of sports, culture and feminism.

I've been published on BBC.com, ESPNw.com, TheEstablishment.com, in the online and print versions of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, MLSSoccer.com, ShepherdExpress.com, multiple SBNation sites and am a founding member of TheVictoryPress.com, a ground-breaking, crowd-funded site of women writing about women in sports.

In addition to my degree in print journalism, I have a degree in Spanish and studied baking and pastry at Waukesha County Technical College.
